Kaufman Apraxia Kit PLEASE HELP!

I just purchased the Kaufman Apraxia Kits for a student with Apraxia. I've read the manual, but I'd love additional ideas on how to use these cards. Do you simply do drill? Do you have the student approximate the word first and then simplify it? HELP!

From my experience I simply have drilled on the cards concentrating on the area of concern. The drill twice a week for 6 weeks I did see some progress. I increased to three time a week when my case load allowed. Hope this helps
