Iowa Area Education Agencies (AEAs) work as educational partners with public and
accredited, private schools to assist students, school staff, parents and communities meet the
challenges of student achievement and accountability.
AEA speech-language pathologist (SLP) services involve the evaluation, consultation,
and therapy for educationally significant problems that children have with language, voice,
articulation, and fluency.
