Which workshop is best? LIPS or Visualizing/Verbalizing?

Postby slpbiddle » Fri Apr 15, 2005 7:26 am

I have an opportunity to take either the LIPS or Visualizing/Verbalizing workshop through Lindamood-Bell and was wondering which one would be the most beneficial for elementary age kids?

Thanks!

It depends what you are looking for. If you want to work primarily on phonological awareness skills with children then you should do LIPS. If you think that language comprehension is what you need then VV is for you. I have taken both and found them both very helpful. VV is an incredible program and I do it with entire classes at my school and it has helped all children. If possible take both at some time. THey are really worth it. Good Luck
