I was targeting "l" in the initial position of words with a first grader using the typical target pictures. Our next card was a picure of several legs from the knee down. Her first attempt came out as "wegs" I said, "Try again". Her next attempt, "regs". "Closer", I replied "try again." To which she relplied, "feet".
