I was evaluating a 2 year old for Early Intervention services. As I finished with the child, I told him "good-bye". He promptly waved, said "Pea-Ou", and smiled. I didn't understand but went on to give the parent interview. When I asked the mom if her child could verbalize "bye-bye", she said, "Well, he did tell you 'Peace Out'".
