I was eliciting connected speech with a four-year old girl using a felt playhouse. As we were putting the cabinets in, I asked her what she thought was in the cabinets. She said, "salt". I asked her what else she thought was in there, and she said, "pepper". I then asked her if she thought there might be dishes in the cabinets and she answered with an emphatic, "no". So, my next question was, "well, where does your mama keep her dishes?" Her response was, "in the sink". |
